Civilization Revolution App (CIV REV IOS) on-sale for $1.99/0.99 iPad/iPhone

$1.99 for iPad, $0.99 for iPod Touch/iPhone. Pretty playable on the iphone (lotsa scrolling), I'd be extra interested in the iPad version if I had the hardware.

There's a 100 turn trial ("Lite") version (3? leaders available?) if the sale is over as you are reading this.

A friend told me that Civ IV was on sale from the app store once before but it was full price ($20) when I checked. Is there any way to keep track of changes in price from the Mac App Store? I'm looking for an OSX parallel to AppShopper on iOS. Is there any way for this site to notify me if it goes on sale? I largely fell off the boat with version 3, but am curious to give IV a try if at a bargain price.

The only way for this site to be able to track price changes is for people like you to spot them and post.

http://appshopper.com/mac/ has a whole right column of RSS feeds covering Mac AppStore new releases, price drops etc. You could probably configure a news reader to selectively display references to Civilization from one or more of these feeds.
