I received the Civilization survey in my email today. What did you think of it? I thought the questions were very good and humble.

Personally I have not played civ much since rise and fall came out. I had been suffering from game abandonment. But while filling the survey, I abandoned it too (for now). For a good reason. I thought I would fire up Civ again so I could give a good answer the the survey asking about the game AI.

Lets not focus on that, let me know your thoughts on the survey.

I don't think everyone got the survey. What were the questions?

I don't think everyone got the survey. What were the questions?
Some questions what we liked and disliked with civ 6 and what we wanted to be improved (I added an extra note on the "what to improve" about adding AI use of Air power).

Well, sure, but it's hard to talk about that survey when we don't know the questions. :p

Apologises. I have now updated the OP. I just assumed this would have been more widespread.

There was questions about what features in Civ 6 we liked and disliked. You could also on some questions add your own answer or suggestion.

One question asked you to rank how you like the options in Civ 6. I ranked it 3 (out of 5) and was for some reason forced to say how I would like to improve it. One thing that I come up with was not a game option but a graphic option. To have animations on for your units and for you enemies, and skip animations for all other civs (i like animations, but I am not interested in looking at one million city-state warriors around my borders).

Another question that you could add your own answer in was what feature I would want to have improved. Besides some checkbox answers I also added that I would like to have ai air usage improved.

There was one question about what civ I liked the most (of 1-6). I answered civ 2 on that one. All other questions was what features I liked and dont like (trade, combat, governors, etc).

I do a lot of surveys (I am part of a panel that do them for a small fee every now and then). I must say that this one was blend. There was some questions that I really hope they take a look at and others that was rather meh. It was a very short survey.

I thought Red Shell spyware was enough of a survey.

I don't think i've received the e-mail either. Do you get it in your Steam accounts e-mail address?
They survey came with "civilization@newsletter.2k.com" email. It came to the email that I use with steam but the source of this is likely from my 2k login.

Red Shell is a spyware that is there to collect information to help companies as 2k with ads, something that all social platforms are already doing on a level that is ten times worse than Red Shell (not a justification). This survey collects information about what you think of the game, something that Red Shell doesn't give a rats arse about.

I recommend everyone who got the survey to answer it cos it looks like 2K marketing are looking to make some decision based on the results. (Remove Red Shell perhaps? Please say so in Q.20)

It's often hard to get real look at customer satisfaction from reviews and forum discussions cos it could be the result of a vocal minority, so that's where feedback from a traditional marketing survey is useful, especially when sales and player numbers of Civ VI are still not too bad.

Looks like a pretty fair survey to me. I agree about UI but room to get your point in at several places. Glad to see all those AI questions though

And I know it's a tired refrain, but at least there are a number of good UI Mods out there to fix various things to fit many of our needs.

The AI can only be fixed by Firaxis from within the code at this point.
