    Hey gang,

We just posted a short preview of the new Civ and we've got a couple of exclusive screens to go with it.

    Enjoy,
    Steve

    great. looks very solid!
but i do not like "ranged bombardment from behind front lines", not for catapults and cannons at least.

    Fantastic NEWS,
And I belive that because we havent heard anything about it before, that it wont be too many years until release, my guess is that they target 1 year but it will become christmas 2011. from what I have noticed during the last few years, games tend to be announced closer to release than they used to.

Very exciting. The scenery looks beautiful - let's hope the gameplay matches up!

Looking good. It's been a long time since there was a game to look forward to.

Also... hex-grid? They really surprised me there, considering how many people tend to be hex-allergic (then again, those people are also allergic to everything turn-based and thus wouldn't play Civilization in the first place)

I was just thinking... a hex grid should allow the world map to really be a sphere, shouldn't it?

Looks like a return to the ranged bombardement of Civ III. That's excellent :)

I read on another thread that there will be city-states, maybe they'll act like RFC's independents, but with better diplomacy options?

    Hooray! :D

First impression is that it looks nearly EXACTLY as I hoped it would. :D

I loved Civ IV but graphically it was never quite right for me.

    Yes! So happy... :)
