Exactly the way I took it. As well as Japan.
Not that Kasbahs are that good in the first place, but I am not really sure where to put them on this map...
umm... I had a game as the Songhai where I spawned in the snow? Biases are harsh.
It might be a good moment to move my spy out of Sukhothai. I am not sure he will live long enough to steal another tech...
I decided to try a Tiny Islands game... Poor Spain, didn't mean this tiny...
The shenanigans continue...
For starters, England is "perfectly balanced" on these kinds of maps...
And secondarily... is twenty turns too short to obliterate two of the largest civs?
Screenshot is less funny, more demonstrating my pain.
I decide to start Small Continents Venice, on a small map.
turn 2, I ask myself "Wouldn't it be funny if Shaka were right next to me"
Turn 8: Meets Attila as well.
Turn 10, from Attila: Hey, wanna declare on Shaka.
Me: Gives up.
Is this Trireme magic or something?
Just the one tile. No others, all my boats can pass through it.
I have seen that. Your Triremes can enter enter Ocean squares that are within your borders.
I've won International Games for less than 1 hammer. Which means that if I had 1 water mill less for 1 turn, I would have lost it.
Ha-ha. Good work! In Civ5, optimization has always been your strength!
Yeah that's a clutch 1st place.
i'm not sure washington understands what peace means
That's clearly someone who wants peace LUL.
This is a... rather strange bit of terrain. Seems more like the Schluchsee than an oasis...
My jaw dropped when I first saw Washington's unit. Poland isn't in this game. Then I vaguely remembered about gifts from Militaristic City States, like Almaty.
Apparently, Venice got some of those donations also.
Ocean tiles are passable within your territory without the need for Astronomy.
Not sure how Venice's one-city thing is coded, but... it was taken by a the Aztecs and I liberated it, and Venice is now itself a puppet owned by... itself.
Fixed with Vox Populi
Venice can never annex any city but the fact that they can't retake their capital and use it normally looks more like a bug. They probably didn't realize how unrealistic and bad it is.
The final patch doesn't correct this so we have to live with it. When Venice, don't lose capital or it will be hard to win (but not impossible at all).
