Sounds like a cinch, but actually, the unwillingness of the AI to explore and settle outside the home continent makes the game harder, not easier. And less interesting. And I'm sure this is not due to a deliberate decision by the designers.
Just to honour you, I'll try to be nice to the city state of Dublin.

Hey! At least we are not "effete snobs"!![]()

Great! I was wondering if it would be released before the new DLC. I love the tactical changes coming out for the AI. Although, my next game will be at Prince level it should be more challenging.
Not sure about this though. •Buildings can now no longer provide more Happiness than there is population in a city (wonders are excluded from this).
Happiness is hard to keep at a high level. I will be interested to see how this works out, in a game where luxury resources are scarce.
This will hurt the Greeks. •Lowered combat value of Horseman and Companion Cavalry.
These should fit into the game much better.
•Catapults and Trebuchets now weaker against units but stronger VS cities.
•Reduced effectiveness of Archers & Crossbowmen (and their UUs) VS cities.
I am optimistic about these changes. With all the bashing going on about this game, something needs to be done to cool some heads, including my own.

The patch is out! New version is 1.0.1.135... Wait, what was the previous one? Wasn't it 1.0.2.something???
I turned steam on it downloaded the patch. Not sure what the previous version was.
