Civilization V: Who/What Am I?

Tourism? I'm really grasping here...

How about an addendum...
Clue 3.1: It's like an in-game religion, but different!

Honestly surprised/apologetic that the answer is proving so elusive.

Boccherini's work played at the end of a war movie...
"We are the 801, we are the central shaft"...
Religion...ideology...

Autocracy?

An in-game religion?

I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA.

An in-game religion that's like a religion but isn't...?
As far as that's concerned, there's a couple possibilities, but I'll go with - and hope no one else has guessed - Confucianism.

No idea about the other clues, although looked up the significance of 801 and it happens to be the year of birth of some Chinese general, which is about the best connection that I could make.

Eh, no one's even close.
The answer was: Ship of the Line

Clue #1 refers to the ending of the movie "Master and Commander", which, of course, follows the adventures of a British frigate during the Napoleonic Wars (so, not technically a ship of the line, but...) One of Boccherini's string quintets is played after the climatic battle has been concluded.
Clue #2 is from the Brian Eno song "The True Wheel". The icon for the SotL is a wheel.
Clue #3 has to do with the fact that the in-game logo for Buddhism is the eight-spoked wheel, similar to the icon for the SotL.

So, anyone may now provide a new clue here!

Ooh, open floor!

Clue #1: Gilberto Freyre

Bingo, we have a winner!

Navelgazer.

It's related to his book, Casagrande e Senzala, which roughly translates to... Plantation.

Let's get this going again!

Clue #1: Spaghetti.

Ethiopia?
