I'm gonna go with Napoleon. He came to power twice in the aftermath of the French Revolution and there's something about the 1st, 2nd and 3rd estate in the French Revolution which could explain the second clue.

Snazzy new scoreboard, otaman! And is it just me, or has this game become increasingly abstract and cryptic over the last twenty pages or so? Good stuff! :)

I am so clueless on this one. I'm just gonna throw "Samurai" out there cuz it's only slightly better than saying nothing.

I feel the same. Looking through the first couple clues, they were so damn easy! Lol, not that I mind having to figure out these abstract cryptics.

I'll give 2 more clues together because of how hard this is.

    1st Clue - I volunteer twice in a revolution
    2nd Clue - I've started 1 in the 1st and 2nd and 3rd and finished another in 2
3rd Clue - The creator starts his second with me.
4th Clue - I am a not specific to Civ. The clues describe my usage.

The only thing I can come up with is Missionary, who volunteer twice in spreading their faith.

    How about railroads?
Sid Meier's Railroad Tycoon is the second game to have Sid Meier's (the creator) name.
Also, railroads played a role in the industrial revolutions.

I think I'll end your miseries now. Although looking at the couple of guesses since the last clues I'm starting to think I'll have to make things easier and this might be too far removed to civ 5 to be counted as a proper go but I checked extensively with the rules at the beginning.

    Spoiler :
    The letter 'M'
1st Clue - 'M'inute'M'an; avolunteer of the American Revolution
2nd Clue - 1st, 2nd and 3rd are Civ 5, G&K and BNW. It starts Montezuma, Maria Theresa, finishes William and starts Maria II
3rd Clue - Sid 'M'eiers (Yackeroeni was closest with his thinking)

Sorry if this was an illegal entry for not being to do with civ 4 too much.

A bit too abstract for my tastes, but I don't mind. Who wants to go next?

EDIT: Well, I guess I'll spare you from the wait again, since there were no takers. I promise this one will be easier!

First clue: Although I am the oldest in real life, I am the youngest in Civ, eager to learn from my older siblings.

Nope, not Ramesses. Going to bed now, keep guessing!

Assyria. One of the oldest civs, but recently added. And "learns" from others by conquering cities.

That seems correct, even though we could debate whether Assyria is really the oldest civ, as Ashburnipal is about 700 years younger than Ramesses II.

Even so, Assyria fits the clue very well.

I'm assuming that Gori the Grey is right, and that it's probably Assyria, but just for the heck of it I'll guess Haile Selassie.

As "civilization" defined by a typical archaeologist or historian, Assyria would certainly stretch back far, but only to when the Old Kingdom Egyptians were building the Pyramids. BNW or not, Egypt would be older in that case. However, if we go beyond such confining definitions and extend it to "Pre-history" (which has always been a silly term to me), then Assyria could indeed be on equal footing with Egypt. We're going back beyond the third millenium B.C.E. there. You'd have to throw in China as well in such a discussion.

Regardless, you're probably right, Gori. But I'll throw in my guess as "Ur," since, "pre-historically" speaking, it's far older than the other BNW-introduced city-states and Civs. Actually, there are two other city-states in that list that could be debated as older, but none are really fitting the third part of his clue (nor does Ur).

Sorry, it's not Assyria, Haile Selassie or Ur. (Assyria would be a very good fit though!)

    Dido?
By far the oldest of all female leaders if you look at it historically. But in game, she actually is the youngest (must represent the age of 28 or something?).

Another very good guess, but sadly, no.

    Time for another clue:

First clue was: Although I am the oldest in real life, I am the youngest in Civ, eager to learn from my older siblings.

Second clue: I can give you something expensive, just this once.
