My position has not changed at all. It's not me who sees things in black and white. I'd happily dispute your points; but we have another thread for that.

I like that they're adding some inland effects for climate change, but I'd like to see a mix of effects, and they wouldn't have to change tile type, just tile yields. Some tundra near grassland would gain an extra food. Some plains as well. But areas already susceptible to drought and/or near desert could permanently lose food, unless trees were planted in the area. Something like that. Maybe coasts would have a bias toward gaining food if not otherwise buffed.

I'm a fan of tile yields getting reduced. Could a tiles yields be reduced to zero? In Civ IV that happened with global warming very late game, it'd be cool to see it in Civ VI.

I checked the files and both coastal and tundra cities get a lot more climate issues than other locations, see Here for info. They are out of your control and now they increase coastal lowlands and reduce yields I gladly bow out of this luck fest, agenda pandering game.

In the livestream Anton mentioned the word "soon" more than once, so it will come out soon, I believe ;)
I may have heard one of the Firaxians going as far as dropping "very soon", but maybe I have only imagined this.

Tundra cities will be improved a bit by making blizzards less damaging and they will improve yields a bit.

You can just play the vanilla game. Or you can go Kraken hunting in Beyond Earth.

Of course there is an expansion in the works, and Anton is leading it. The internal code name is "Daniel". :D

    Not everyone. ;)

The real question is: will it be better than More Lenses?

I can't wait for the workers to revolt and give fire to some districts and other improvements... these kind of robots are annoyingly constructive...

Great patch, very happy for world builder!
