Caesar's model is a little over-the-top but I can appreciate its uniqueness.

Julius Caesar ability looks good. Getting gold with conquests will be super nice. You will get a ton of gold that you can then spend to buy extra legions and steamroll over the other civs.

But seriously, even as a generally peaceful player, this ability sounds good. I loved Songhai in Civ 5 just for the reliable early gold for getting set up.

I can't imagine that won't be the case. From my background in modding, city-state cities have very few differences to any other city, and I can't think of a single ability that applies to cities in general that doesn't apply to city-states.

For instance, Alexander's ability applies to them too.

I know they said they didn't know, but that's my 2 cents.

Not only is Caesar in armor (against my prediction of a toga), he's got enough iron on it for an entire legion.

Julius looks very cool and I’m happy we’re getting him. Although, according to Suetonius, he should be completely bald and it’s gonna annoy me

Also I just realised now that with my completionist playstyle of only using leaders that I have no win achievement on I’ll get to play some very cool civs like Rome and Arabia again, so I don’t mind we aren’t getting new civs that much.

No Lincoln costume ‽

Also I’ve got to remark, it’s probably the first time I’ve ever noticed anybody using an interrobang in the wild. Fun.

I think it's just interns slipping up, there were few "glitches" and bloopers happening throuhgout.
