I think these look great! Could it be something to make us warm up to, so they can use it for Civ 7?

Do they have these cards or at least art in this style for all/any of the pre-LP leaders? It’s really neat to see, but will be kinda weird/sad if only the LP leader additions get this treatment

They haven't, and I'd be surprised to see them this late in the day. It's probably just something their new marketing department came up with.

Nzinga Mbande finds renewed strength against enemies from abroad.

Build relationships with civs on your continent for prosperous peace under Queen Nzinga!

So as others have noticed in other threads, this text is clearly referring to Nzinga's original abilities (+5 Combat Strength against civs who have a different home continent + trade route bonuses to civs that share your home continent).

Sloppiness of them literally promoting the wrong thing aside, what we actually ended up with for Nzinga is so much more boring and derivative than the original idea. A real shame.

Leader card art style as a whole: I like it a lot. Hoping they do this for all the packs!

Julius: Nice variation on the 3D model. No better or worse than it.

Abraham Lincoln: Better at capturing his weathered-ness, but feels uniquely more cartoonish than the other leader cards thanks to the heavily exaggerated face. Feels more Lincoln-like to me (still not spot on), but I'd call it a slight downgrade from the 3D model.

Ana Nzinga: The added rendering on her face gives the impression of age that doesn't reflect the rest of her appearance. Her lips look a little strange to me. Very subjectively, I'll say this is a downgrade from the 3D model.

Saladin: A more realistic face that maintains the character of the 3D model while toning it down. It's still stylized, just not as exaggerated. That's a win in my book. The face feels very right to me- has the appropriate level of age and wisdom for a commander. Big upgrade from the 3D model to me

Overall, I like the leader cards! Fun little marketing trinket with a nice (if inconsistent) art style. Yep, that's Civ VI art :crazyeye:

I agree with most of this, especially how great Saladin looks, except on Caesar. To me it looks like they just traced a screengrab of the 3D model, whereas the others at least look like art that was inspired by (rather than traced over) the 3D model.

Can modders come with mods of her original abilities ?
