Single player gets first choice of Civ on age transition.
I would guess approx 1700 CE or soSeems like the eras are wider than we believed? Turn one in exploration was shown to be 400 CE. Do we know when it ends? Two hundred turns in each age, max, so...
It was 80% "developers, how do you FEEL?" and 20% actual information. But that was more than I expected, so hey.SO it's over... didn't get the chance to free myself and watch it yet... apart from what is mentioned in the thread so far, what are your impressions on the panel as a whole ?
Probably confirmation of Normans, Chola, and Mughals (which are Modern, apparently). And a look at Exploration Age turn 1 with 4 Norman unique policies shownWhat are the biggest news?
Yep, it's up on YouTube:I couldn't watch. Will it be put up anywhere?
They have said that they (currently, at least) always have another continent to go discover. Since Ages hardcap your tech progression, all they have to do is have that part of the map across an Ocean, and have the Oceanfaring tech be in the 2nd Age.He still didn't go into how the map expands. That's the weirdest part of this game for me. I'm not sure how that's going to work and feel "organic". I don't mind the civ switching and all that, but it's still going to feel very "gamey" regardless. Not that the it wasn't gamey before. My thoughts are that no matter how hard they are trying, the transitions are always going to be a bit awkward.
