Spain confirmed?
Judging by this screenshot, Spain’s returning as a base game civ.

Ishtar Gate?
At least there's an indigenous North American civ in the base game this time, even if it's day one DLC. That's a step up from Civ6.Not thrilled that Tecumseh is a preorder DLC.
Augustus, I would presume? Because he certainly looks a lot more wimpy than a usual Roman leader, and young as well. The blond hair also makes it seem like Augustus.View attachment 699784
Is she Cleopatra or Hatshepsut, you think? (I think we all know who the leader on the right is)
My money's on Hatshepsut. And leaders look so awful. Like mid-2000s awful.View attachment 699784

Did I post this one here yet?

So BASICALLY, the same leader selection criteria as Ara: History Untold (which has leaders such as Sappho, Cesare Beccaria and Jeanne d'Arc alongside the usual monarchs, chancellors and prime ministers)
One more win for the Jeanne dArc hopers
