With all the ideas and suggestions that people post in this and other sites dedicated to Civilizations, I wonder if there will be another edition of Civilizations sometime around the corner.
However, we will probably just be given another game extension like Civ III "Play the World" and "Conquests".
I think it would be interesting to see what kind of product they could come up with if they took many of these ideas and suggestions to heart.
I'm just throwing a thought out there for you guys to run with.
Let me know what you think.

I very much doubt there will be another Civ3 expansion (but you never know).

Since they've already announced civ4 I don't think they wolud make an expansion more. There would be too little time between the two announcements

I think developing Civ for the counsel would be a waste of time IMHO.
Seems to me that there aren't as many strategy gamers using consoles, much less willing to use a controller over a mouse.

I hope for a Civ4 with an upgraded / redesigned engine. The current one is already squeezed out.
