Hello there


To stop this nonsense "war" about what civilizations should be in the game i tkink that the best thing to do is:

->each civilization has a separated file in the game
->create a civ editor that allows users to create civilizations
->no limit in the number of civilizations in the game (I know is treaky)
->possibility to download this files from the game site

what do you think

That is the brightest idea this newbie has seen in the Civ3-Civilizations forum in a long time!

It makes too much sense. Imagine, a fully library of stock civs, and we can all choose the 16 we want in our personal mixes.

It isn't only a compromise between the too many choices in CTP2 and CIV2 vs. current situation, but I think it is simply even better.

So so true. So many flame wars. So much hate, so much blame, so much finger pointing. Let's hope and pray that either:

1.) Firaxis already had this in mind for a possible expansion set for Civ III

2.) Someone from Firaxis reads this and has it put into the expansion (or at least the next patch).

As for the rest of the problems, its up to everyone to stop *****ing about 'why did they include this civ without that civ?!'. I was there once. I was one of those morons. Not a good thing. I hope everyone else can see the light like I did and keep their mouths shut about who should and who shouldn't have been in the game. Now let's all talk about more interesting, constructive and mind-stimulating matters to do with Civ III.
