CivRev Earns Editor's Choice Award @ IGN with 8.8/10; Other Reviews Positive Too

This time, less than a week away from the release of Civilization Revolution in the United States, we have four new reviews! Most notable is the review from IGN which rated the game 8.8 out of 10, giving it the following scores for various categories: 9 for Presentation and Lasting Appeal, 8 for Graphics, and 8.5 for Sound and Gameplay. This was enough to receive the IGN Editors' Choice award for "excellence in entertainment value, performance, design, originality, and lasting appeal". Additionally, there were reviews at the USA Today (rating: 8/10) and GameZone (rating: 7.5/10), as well as over 50 new screenshots at WorthPlaying.

Here is what IGN had to say about CivRev:

Not to cop out here, but gamers of various stripes are going to be all over the map on this one. The hardcore PC nerds will be disappointed, truly casual gamers may still be overwhelmed, and some will probably fall neatly in the middle. The developers of Civ Rev made some tough but smart compromises, which resulted in a great console strategy game that could do with just a bit more depth. Overall though, this one's a winner.
