I recommend watching the History Channel International if you get a chance. It's like Civ on TV, from all eras. There are tons of specials about a lot of mods in here, too.

...man I play bts too much :crazyeye:

I dig History Channel when they don't focus on Aliens, Hitler, and Hitlers' Aliens causing Global Warming. :)

I love the things on Hitler, he was a monster, but he was a fascinating monster. The alien stuff, not so much. It belongs on the Discovery Channel really.

I wonder what programmes would actually be shown on "Civ TV"?

7:00 Friends - the one where Catherine stabs everyone in the back
8.00 Location, Location, Location - Kirsty and Phil help the Persians find the best spot for their next city
9:00 Top Gear - Jeremy Clarkson road tests the Camel Archer
10:00 CSI Combat Scene investigation - the team investigate exactly how the spearman killed the tank

271 (even though I dont have direct TV:lol:). It may be a new station.

Thank you for pointing out the difference between this and the regular history channel. There is a big difference. History International you wont see shows on aliens, haunted houses, or alien's houses haunted by hitler.

    :agree:

i remember when they used Rome Total War graphics/units for a series on great battles which induced me to buy Rome Total War. (I thought that was the future of civ- until a bit of mp and sp made me realize that the balance was way out of wack and the ai
a bit weak as well) Great concepts tho- and the battles are unmatched by any civ graphics- course civ won out as it always tends to do (Call to Power was even "better" in many areas- with one big fat exception - the AI.)
