Speaking of Kenneth Branagh movies, I liked Murder on the Orient Express, the book. The movie was meh.

Also I remember liking Lord of the Flies but it has probably been 15 years or so since I've read it.

If you want to follow the great detectives then Poirot is David Suchet and Maigret is Bruno Cremer. Accept no substitutes.

That's the one. It's pretty tame by modern standards of Hidden Object games, but it was enough to get me thoroughly hooked. There's a sequel game as well, but I haven't played that one yet.

His stuff was, of course, published in serialized form and he got paid by the word (or page, or whatever) so he wrote and wrote and wrote an awful lot of words. This is not a bad thing since those words were mostly excellent.

Yeah, Dickens is the windbag that he is for that reason. But again, if you're gonna give us words that good, then, by all means, go to it.
