I only played 3 rather than 5 since Qin has asked us to declare on Wang.
I can't post a save until we have decided what to do so please let me know so I can post the save for fb. I think it is a bit early to declare.
Pre-flight check -
Science - 50 % - now at +4 gpt
Switch citizen in Panama City. Forge now due in 24 turns.
Switch prod in Torola from Courthouse to Library (due in 13) so that
we can employ some specialists.
Hit Enter
Madrid - Lighthouse -> War Elephant
Wang asks us to declare war on Qin . I refuse as politely as I am able

Ivory Coast - Lighthouse->Library
Havana Confucion Missionary -> War Elephant (already queued)
1) - 1110 AD
Not sure what to do with Confucian Misionary in Havana. Presumably he should be sent out
to Seville ?
IT - Ivory coast and Panama City both expand borders
2) - 1120 AD
Our westward bound caravel disovers some light blue borders
It's Alexander.
I get Monarchy, Alphabet and Horseback Riding for
Compass and 2 minor techs.
Tech situation is now as follows -
We can also get fur from Genghis for our spare banana. He hasn't met anyone else yet
so we won't get a 'Traded with our worst enemy' penalty so I do it.
I'm starting to run out of things to do with our workers
IT - Wang asks us to cancel our deals with Qin. Of course I refuse .
3) - 1130 AD
Science up to 60% (27g , -6 gpt)
Forgot to check for whipping opportunities last couple of turns.
Check them and wield the lash with a vengeance.
Rush Galley in Barcelona, Forge in Panama, Forge in Porkopolis,
Library in Tortola , War Elephant in Madrid
Alexander has Literature but wants Machinery for it . Not
sure this is a good exchange (although 2 other civs have machinery)
so will leave this for the next player
Confucian missionary fails to spread religion in Tortola
Now we get this -
I've been staring at this for about 20 mins and cant make up my mind
whether to agree or not . We obviously want to keep Qin friendly for now
but it's a few turns too early in my mind to go to war since our military is
still pretty weak. What will be the negative factor if we refuse ?
We're at +6 at the moment and given our current military strength I'd rather
stay out of war for now, hope Qin batters Wang a bit and then we can join in and mop up
the pieces once our military is stronger.
Here's what we currently have
Due to the map type it's probably not going to be that easy for Wang to do us too
much damage, but if we do stay out whoever wins the war (if there is a clear
winner) will be further ahead of us
I know we're going for domination / conquest but my
gut feeling is to keep out of war for the moment.
I'm going to stop here but I obviously can't post a save until we make
a decision on whether to say yes or no to Qin.
