When I create a game in the cloud, a random map code and a random game code are created.
These numbers can be seen by all the participants in the game. They are found in the Settings tab, at the bottom of the list.
Now we open the World Builder and enter that map code. The map that is created is exactly the same as the one we are playing in the cloud.
That is, all participants have the possibility to see the complete map from turn 1.
However, in single player games, those codes do not appear anywhere.
    Why do developers allow this?
I think it is very important that these codes are not visible, especially when we play against strangers and we want the game to be competitive.
How can I hide those codes?
    Thank you

You can see the seeds when you create a SP game as well quite at the bottom of the advanced settings.
Also hiding them in MP lobbies does not change anything. If someone really wants to cheat he can just save the game when it is his turn and load it as SP game afterwards (with access to console commands like reaveal all and even firetuner).

The best thing you can do when you want to have no cheaters (and also less quitters) is not to play in random lobbies but look for players here or in another civ 6 community.

    Thank you Buktu!
but, i keep wonderig why do developers allow this? I'm sure it would be very easy to avoid this.
In Beyond the Sword this did not happen...
(the ways of the lord are inscrutable)
    :D
