I don't agree with the US withdrawing from these areas, but I'm decidedly out voted on it. So the mid east will fall back into the same quagmire it was before the US, or likely worse since we shook the area so badly and will now leave it in tatters with Saudi Arabia and Iran at each others throats.

Not quite sure I understand this correctly. First you say the GOP blocked the rollback of Russa sanctions, and then you say that some GOP-senators sided with the democrats but were unsuccessful. I don't see how these two match. Blocking a rollback of Russia sanctions IS the position the democrats are holding, so either some republicans broke ranks and helped block the rollback of sanctions, or they broke ranks but the rest of the GOP still pushed through the sanctions being rolled back.

There was a bill or motion to stop Trump from rolling back Russian sanctions.

Democrats supported this bill, as did some Republicans. The bill would have kept sanctions on Russia.

The rest of the GOP voted down the bill, allowing sanctions to roll back because that's what Trump pushed for. The sanctions will be rolled back. Not all of them, but some of them. I believe they needed a supermajority to pass the bill but did not achieve it.

the way China is Fascist...there's very little difference between so called right wing and left wing Fascism... they both have the State as the centre of there belief system while the individual must conform to the desires of that state...

the UK and Australia are both left of the US but you will not find many Nationalists of those countries wanting to dismantle their national health systems its not a left and right issue its part of their national identity... the Brexit bus had a sign saying how much money could be spent on the NHS... its how people in the centre deal with inequality yet UKIP are alt right racist Fascists.. its an issue the free marketeers have to deal with it... or they will not get elected

The Nazi party was very different before and after they took power. Which was truly fascist? In today's political climate Antifa is as close to fascist as anyone gets.

we just have to wait to see if its bullcrap... now that the US has stopped trying to effect regime change... Assad is talking to the kurds about their concerns because as you have said 2000 troops were doing diddly squat.. to help get rid of the militants there... they were a 'tethered goat' waiting for either Russia or Turkey or Assard to have a collateral damage incident and plunge the whole region into a a Russia/ USA conflict
