CM-01: AW Warlord as Aztecs

This Succession Game is an AW game as the Aztecs on Regent.
The settings are:

Large Map
Restless Barbarians
80% Water Archipelago
Warm temp, Wet Terrain, and 4 Billion Year Planet
Enemies: America, Zulu, England, Germany, Persia, Greece, and Babylon.
4 Players Required
Warlord Difficulty. ( Warlord Skills Required. )
Each Save Required in 72 hrs top.
Palace may stay only in Tenochtitlan.
Each Player Plays 20 Turns Per Save
And, remember that this is an Always War game.

I dont know how players get chosen, but you can post to try to get the spot.

What difficulty is it exactly?

And I feel some of your rules should be relaxed. Especially the 72 hr deadline one. People usually can play SG sets only on Weekends

I'd agree with Rodent. A strict 72-hour deadline doesn't work well for a lot of players.

Well I checked out the save and the difficulty is Warlord. Starting position looks decent. I think this is vanilla, since starting techs are Warrior Code and Ceremonial Burial for Aztecs.

Unfortunately my current RL doesn't allow for SGs. Good Luck.

You may want to consider these points:


"4 Players Required"

a 5th will provide protection for the sure to come real life issues.

"Each Save Required in 72 hrs top."

This will be impossible for many, even people with time to burn. I have spent up 8 hours on the pre in some later SG games.

"Each Player Plays 20 Turns Per Save"

This will be ok at first, but later you may even have to let it drop to 5 turn. A normal approach would be 20 for the first 2 or 3 players and 10 after that. AW turns can be very time consuming.

what kind of Aw? Are you allowing trades on first contact or not? Do you have to declare as soon as you see them on the map or in F4?

It is up to you as the owner. Most go first up first served. If you have too many, you may want to be selective.

You can post in the thread about looking for players, but it will be hard to get anyone to take it serious, if you do not even post in your own thread for 3 days at the very start.

Sry I don't mean to bump a old thread but is this still going on. I play vanilla and I'm past warlord (Mopped the floor wit thier faces on conquest ).
I'm looking to play my first SG but alot of games on the forums are for C3C not vanilla . If this game isn't going on then can someone give me a link or something that would be great. Either that or I can just start my own SG for vanilla or something.
