Colombo's discovery

Why would anyone hate Columbus? Until we find life on another planet, his discovery has got to be the most momentous event in history. Hate Cortes or Pizarro if you feel like you need to hate someone for something that happened hundreds of years ago. Those two were (by all accounts) genuinely nasty folks. Hating Columbus is a politically correct cheap shot.
 
This is what I think. And also Colombo never killed some native american. They were the other person that followed on next years that had made the genocide. Hate Colombo for this is like to hate Einstein for Hiroshima.
