Well, that looks like a pocket on a shirt, so he could be modern. Mandela?
that is definitely nelson mandela
Mandela is my guess as well.
What a shirt....
Could very well be Mandela based on the patterns on the shirt alone.
Mandela and his resplendently '70s shirt.
Either him or Sir Milton Margai, but that's just wishful thinking on my part. =]
i really need to learn to code...
Yep! It's Mandela. Courtesy of our great friend RawSasquatch.
Wow! It's great. Good work.
There's nothing I can say that I haven't already said in the DoM.
Oh well, I was going to guess Don Cherry, but most people around here probably wouldn't get the reference.
Canadian alternate leader?
Can be.. i didn't got the reference myself, though
So... Speaking of Poundmaker, I think I neglected to mention that Neirai is back in action and is working on a civ we started production of a very long time ago. Here's a bit of a teaser:
The Cree are going to be awesome. There are just so many little pieces of flavor here and there - from a Dynamic City-Naming script that changes based on the terrain of which you found your cities, to the UU having the ability to permanently deplete sources of horses for their own personal gain (they steal them, and then subsequently mount up to become powerful mounted units). All in all, if you come up against the Poundmaster in-game, you're bound to want to...

Really cool, I hope you will create a template for your Dynamic City Naming for other modders (and even implement it as a standalone mod by it self).

Does anyone have any ideas foe Malaysia decisions/events?
I love how many planned civs you've got going at the moment. Can't wait to see what else will be planned.
Commission the Malay Annals.
Costs 100 Culture, 100 Gold
Can be enacted once in the renaissance era
Civ must be in a golden age
can only be enacted once
> Gain a Free Great Writer
> Great Works in the Capital gain +1 Happiness
I'm not sure if the Cree are going to use the same code, but whoward69 already covered how to do dynamic city names in Lua in this thread. I used a variation on that code for my Forest of Magic civ. It is really awesome to see dynamic city names like that, though, because it creates a more immersive feel that your city names actually reflect their environment.
In Times of War (or Proclamation to the Officers)
Costs 250 culture
Can only be enacted during a war
Can only be enacted once (maybe)
> Spawns a Great General
> Spawns a Great Work of Writing
This is idea is based on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hịch_tướng_sĩ
where General Tran Hung Dao composed this proclamation in an atempt to raise morale right before the second Mongol invasion of Dai Viet.
It would be really nice if you could have the great general be Tran Hung Dao and the great work be Hich Tuong Si (the name of the proclomation in Vietnamese)
