[Col] Colonization clone Browser Game From the 2000s

Does anyone know of a clone of Colonization that was done in the early to mid 2000s? It was a browser game, I believe it was done in Perl.

These are the ones I know of from back in the 2000s... but I don't see any mention of Pearl on their sites..
