Here is the workshop link.

My mod takes away the clinical white icons of vanilla Beyond Earth and instead fills the Tech Web with colour! This mod adds coloured icons to the tech tree depending on the outputs (e.g. energy, science) they give and also shows lock icons for units and buildings which require an affinity level to be unlocked.

This is awesome, is there any chance you could help me get this to work client sided, rather than using the mod bootstrapper? i'd like to manually overwrite my files similar to enhanced user interface - the reason being i want to use this in multiplayer. it's client sided therefore it should be possible, thanks.

I am working on that at the moment, I am just having trouble replacing the necessary files.

@PigsFlyUpNorth:
I'm using few mods including Your as DLC on base of Enhanced UI by bc1 and JdH's CiV MP Mod Manager. For me it's working in hot seat games.

Maybe this will help You:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/b2r1pvv97f433w5/BEUI_bc1.zip?dl=0

Unzip directory BEUI_bc1 into Your
SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth\assets\DLC\

This should give some clues how to add something manualy as DLC.
(I'm not author of any of this mods, it's just mix of existing ones into solution which meets my needs -> hotseat with mods)

It's an example of mods as dlc, don't treat this as released mod. If You need to get it work with infoaddict then copy InfoAddictText_EN.xml into SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth\assets\Gameplay\XML\Text\XX_XX\

If you make any headway please let me know :P

I got this working, please tell me if something doesn't work:

1) Find the Beyond Earth file in you 'My Documents' (e.g C:\Users\NAME)\Documents\my games\Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth
2) Open the 'config.ini' file with notepad and change LooseFilesOverridePAK = 0 to LooseFilesOverridePAK = 1
3) Now go into Documents\my games\Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth\MODS\Colour Filtered Tech Web (v ...)\Art and copy the .dds files.
4) Now find the assets file in the Beyond Earth file in your steam folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth\assets)
5) Create a folder called something like 'Colour Filtered Tech Web' and paste the .dds files into there.

it works.. Omg, YES THANK YOU

I did notice that this makes EUI broken, is there any way to get the two to play together? (im playing around with it myself to figure it out)

Look up at my post #7 - I use EUI + Colour Filtered Tech Web + InfoAddict + clock, in one solution.

If You are using EUI by bc1 then simply copy folder Art from
Documents\my games\Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth\MODS\Colour Filtered Tech Web (v ...)\
into
SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth\assets\DLC\BEUI_bc1\

It's working for me.

@spinka:
How did you implement the localisation for infoaddict? I did add a DE_DE folder with the german file, and added it to the xml folder. I replaced the line in the dlc file. But I only see the constant strings ingame.

@Dickloraine
Yeah, ATM You must manualy copy InfoAddictText_[XX].xml into SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth\assets\Gameplay\XML\Text\XX_XX\ :badcomp:
