Combat Animations toggle

Can Combat Animations be turned off after game start? Kind of frustrated with watching them at this point~

Doubt it will ever be patched in online, but it may with LAN.

i hope so, i play LAN! I think most people actually play civ LAN (if they play MP), because it's a game where you have to really trust your player companion (to not abandon the game when he is loosing)
For this reason i got really surprised to see they set MP on online play model...

I didn't see an option anywhere... but you could always hop into strategic view before you execute all of your military moves; there's no animations there.
