Anybody knows how combat odds and damage are calculated in Civ 6?

I saw somewhere that a +5 difference in combat value between attacker and defender has the same result regardless of the base value. Not sure it's correct.

I've been looking around also and haven't seen any data on it yet, but that IS what the devs are saying.

It's been really bugging me because even people like FilthyRobot are evaluating things completely wrong in their videos if that's true.

To make things short: +10 difference means ~150% damage.
