Cyberpunk Communism! Instead of megacorporations, international, late-stage capitalism, we have global worker-coops with economic and political inequality is nearly eradicated, say with a few outliers. Capitalism is a distant memory and is now looked at with disgust by the general populace.

WIP currently, first is brainstorming buildings and the like.

Fully automated luxury socially progressive space communism?

How it would work with corporatist/capitalist/feudalist/theocratic civics?

You know communism doesn't eradicate inequality, right?

There is far too much unreasoned optimism about the future in the mod already (connected to scientolatry* rather than a political ideology, but still).

On the other hand, the mod is currently biased badly against socialism and in favour of "stuff we're familiar with in 'Murica", so please do fix that any way you can. Current socialist/communist and related civics all have worthless buildings, so you could start by suggesting corrections to those existing buildings.

Is it possible for a building to require more than one civic? That would be beneficial in general, and relevant here if you want to establish a 'best of both worlds' synergy between "leftist" civics - which we already have and don't need more of - and future utopian ones.

* = idolatry of science;)

You can make everything real at end of game :p
You turn whole omniverse into spiritual/creative Disneyland, that is full of gods, wizards and everything else found in tvtropes.

Probably in your game your civ already can make a dragon.

No you can only make rose-coloured-glasses things like rainbows and unicorns.

Can you turn the whole multiverse/whatever into an irradiated hell that even gods have trouble surviving in? Why would you want to, you reply. You wouldn't want to, but with that much power you might do it anyway. After all, many gods are predicted to not survive the battle at the end of time...

We had an interesting discussion with Bill yesterday on Discord about splitting the build queue into a private and public queue, something AIAndy and I thought up a while back. I'd love to see the balance of economic polarities and their strengths and weaknesses expressed in the mod but it would certainly take a lot of time and energy. As he said, it's on the list and due at about turn 51420 from now.

There is Roko Basilisk wonder and Torment Realm buildings in mod though :p

What do you mean by "corrections"?

Will you stop saying that name? This site has to be worse than He Who Must Not Be Named, and I'm not speaking of the Harry Potter one, but of the Lovecraft one: https://wiki.c2.com/?HeWhoMustNotBeNamed !

I've noticed that as well. I think having worker coops replacing factories with the Soiclaized civics restricting factories and the like to be built. It should at least be unlocked at Communism.
Under the USSR, females, and people of color were far more treated fairly than in the united states under Stalin. It wasn't until the '80s and '90s were it got better for those minorities here in the sates.

I don't see it either way. While Nanotech onwards suggests a better future, really if anything it's trying generalize sci-fi elements into techs, both the really good (with some hidden costs; cybernetics, infinite life spans) and the obviously bad (mind control and god-like beings using their powers for destruction). I'm not seeing that as "idolatry of science" so to speak. It's just sci-fi. Science has done great wonders for us in terms of relative life happiness, the ability to conserve our resources, and how to save us from ourselves. This is not idolatry (worship of idols) unless you wanna go full creationist and make it utterly useless. Unless you mean informally?
A good synergy would be Post-Scarcity and Anarchy, creating an RBE like the Venus Project.

Its just site hell bent on cultural victory :p

Also there are Lovecraft references in mod like last military civic.
