Community Patch - How To Install

I have Civ V version 1.0.3.144. Last version of CP worked fine on it.
I dont have mac, EUI is in the correct folder, no health and plague. Lua folders deleted from cp and cbp.

Yep I'm on 1.0.3.279. I verified the game cache, no result.

So I deleted EUI out of DLC and cleared all my mods out of the folder.
I installed just the two, Community Patch and Balance Patch
Deleted the LUA for Community Patch, made sure that LUA is in the Balance Patch
Made sure to clear cache
Enabled mods through in game menu.
Start a new game, no result. Luxuries still give 4 happiness, tech tree looks vanilla.
Is something preventing the mod from enabling? Once again I am using the 8-24 files.
Any ideas other than completely reinstalling?

That version is not the latest version. Will not work with that version.

If you have logging and validation enabled, please post your database.log and lua.log. If not, enable logging, try to load, then post files.

They look okay, but the mods definitely aren't loading.

To be clear, when you launch the game, you are going to the Mods menu, enabling the mods, then clicking 'next,' correct? You aren't backing out, going to Single Player, and then starting a game, are you?

I feel stupid.

I was clicking next and enabling mods, but once I got the screen that showed the mods loaded I clicked back because I thought that was the only option. I missed the Single Player button at the top.

I have all the mods enabled above CP, CBP, CSD, EUI etc I followed all instructions and the game has completely changed so credit to all who have made this, it's like a new game CIV 5 devs should take a leaf out of your books my only issue which to be honest I can deal with is the great works screen I can't move my great works and put them in different city's it's just showing one city and doesn't show the correct buildings and it looks as if they are all full

I may be in the wrong thread, but I've been experiencing some crashes to desktop and was wondering if someone could take a look at my logs and see what may be causing them.

I have the all of the Community mods, Events and Decisions, Piety and Prestige and Extra Luxuries enabled.

ArtDefine_Landmarks.LayoutHandler is one a lot of people are getting. Mongolia Silk Road and Estates, check to make sure you have CBP compatibility for more luxuries enabled (that fixed that one for me). Piety and Prestige is one I don't have, I"m assuming those other errors are related to it.

Sounds like a mod conflict. Disable all mods except for the CP+CBP+Compatibility File(s) and work your way out. I can't really help you without knowing what mod is causing the conflict.

Well, I switched two mods on mine and everything worked again. I deleted the new EUI and switched the compatibility file to the one for not using EUI.

And gee whiz. No more crashes. With all the other mods the same :p :)
 
I'm running version 1.0.3.279 [Steam auto-update] with the following mods. If I close the game (either exit to Main Menu or exit to Windows), then relaunch and try to load game it crashes at the leader load scene.

I deleted the cache, re-downloaded the mods, and re-deleted the cache with same behavior. I've also removed and reinstalled the game via steam.

This behavior doesn't occur when playing an an game without any mods. Any hunches of where to start?

The CPP project is awesome, and I've become quite accustomed to its improvements. I can't bring my self to play Civ 5 without CPP, so no playing until it I can figure this out.

Hey Gazebo, love the mod! Would it be too much trouble to add a tiny changelog (to this thread for example) whenever you update CBP? I'm always browsing through all UA's and UB's (and social policies and beliefs etc etc... :D) to see if theres any interesting changes.
