comp transfer error

hey havent posted in a while my original civ vanilla got fried i went and got civ 4 but i miss 3 so i got gold but i try instal goes to 9% and get this error

and i tried what it said no luck any other way around it or did i just do it wrong

Well, have you tried exchanging the disk for another one from where you got it? Try that and see if it works. I heard that there are some problems with copies that some stores sell.
