There is a huge difference between 140 turns and 90 turns. It's one thing if people think someonthing is overpowered, it's another thing when they purposely post misleading stuff that's just not even close to reality.

He said it took him 140 turns the first time, and that he then did it again in 90 turns. No need to be inflammatory.

Actually, if you put your second city on top of the horses, instead of next to them, you'd be able to get there even faster, because you wouldn't need the pasture.

And I don't see any basis for your premise that it'd take you 65 turns to get a CC.

The real problem is whole game balance, or lack of one. Civ4 Immortals or Keshiks were pretty OP too, in a sense, but overexpansion gave us halted science and auto-disbanding units. Dealing with overexpansion in Civ4 was relatively hard and there was a limit how far you can go. Civ5? Unhappiness? And science gets even better? AND money gets even better? LOL. I cannot help but laugh at Civ5 unhappiness "issue" after all the micromanagement hell I was used to get into after a healthy Keshik rush (read: -30 GPT @ 0% and caste system is yet to be researched)...

No he didn't. If you are going to try to correct people, get your own facts straight. The guy who said he won deity in 90 turns is a completely different poster. That original poster never responded because they never in their wildest dreams beat deity in 90 turns. You go try to produce a CC before turn 65. not likely to happen. Big difference vetween produce and purchase. 65 is a realistic turn to produce CC. With the right ruins you could probably push it a bit further than that, but not much. You still aren't beating stnard or small pang anywhere near 90 turns.
