Complaint about popups and Trojan Horses

Google Toolbar stops adds and you can search using google which is also very good.

I get that as well AND IT IS AQNNOYING! Som uch, that I have today downloaded Mozilla to get rid of it.

I'd like to report how vexed I am at one particularly persistent mobile phone ring tone pop-up, which then spawns two further boxes, which you have to click in succession. It then spwans a download box for some unknown piece of peripheral crap.

And don't tell me to get a pop-up stopper or anything like that, as I'm on a university network.

I don't particularly mind pop-ups that disapear after I close them, but that one is bordering on personal harrasment in it's methods.

Yeah I think at least some of the posters in this thread were refering to that advert and there is another thread about it somewhere in Site feedback. If you get a popup blocker or a different browser then it will stop...

So do you mean that you are using their computers? You could always try getting them to block pop ups...
