I have tried this but it never works. I don't know why? I've lookes all over CFC but coudn't find a tutorial. Could anyone give me a complete breakdown on how to make a new unit. Very preferobly with FLICster and GIMP. If not many people know how to do that another program could work, I guess.

In order to make a new unit you'll need to get a 3D modeling program. Flicster and GIMP are not enough. Most humanoid units are made with Poser which costs a couple hundred $ usually. Mechanical units can be made with many different programs, many of which are free. Bryce is a program I once used to make some mechanical units. It's freeware.
