Computer has insane population bug?

In my first game since downloading the patch, 3 of the computers have ridiculous amounts of population in their cities. Up to 280 in some of the Aztec cities, needless to say it is impossible for me to keep up. Even their scores are insane. I have a copy of the saved game here. Should I try and reinstall or is this a problem other people have had?

This saved game is a little bit back from where I am currently due to size constraints.

Did you have any mods used before you upgraded (I am assuming you are running patch 1.61).
In that case, it would be advisable to de-install, clear the folders under "...my games\civ4\..." and re-install again.

I haven't used any mods or anything. I am going to try another game just to see if it happens again and if so I will just reinstall.

I just thought it was weird enough, I should show people.

Well I played 2 more games since that one and have had no problems.

Maybe it was just a random occurence.
