In school, I used to go into Microsoft Word, and switch the autocorrect around. So "the" became "teh," for example. I've also heard of people changing autocorrect to some not-so-polite words.

I would also use monitor settings to make the screen upside down.

Too bad all the settings disappeared when the computer was rebooted. (To keep the kids from putting programs on it.)

I've also heard of:
-- Blue Screen of Death screensavers.
-- switch the keyboard to French or some other language.

One of the best is to take a pair (or more pairs) of keys out of the keyboard, then switch their places. People usually figure out something's wrong, but not quite what is it.

Classic one: Take a screenshot of someone's desktop, set it as their background and hide all their actual icons.

I did that (hid their game icons only) when someone's java games were interferring with a web application at work that used javascript after everytime they complained something didn't work, it worked after I deleted the game's process from Task Manager.. I think the lesson was learned... ;)

Switch the mouse from right-handed to left-handed or the other way around.

Set the scroll wheel to do something stupid, like open the Start menu or right-click.

I did that to mom yesterday. She was not too happy. :mischief::lol: She said I put a virus on her computer. I had to put it back.
She calls herself a computer expert? I pwned her.
