Computer Slowdown

I don't know why, but all of a sudden my computer's performance online is very slow. My internet provider hasn't changed and they say it is fine, but it is taking way too long. Any tips?

it runs ok with non-internet stuff?

in that case, just check what other processes are running at the same time and what would be using your bandwidth. otherwise it's connection speed. some providers will vary your speed if you go over some description of download limit.

I noticed FireFox slowed down a lot after I installed the Flash plugin
