Hi!
Im a newbie in BTS, and I noticed that some of the cities that I conquered returned to their original civilization.
How can I prevent this annyoing thing?

Thannks!!!!! :)

This concept is called "revolting" and is explained in this article in the War Academy. Here's an excerpt:

Anyway, let's move on to the topic of revolts. A revolt in a city can occur if the owner of the city and the person who would own the underlying square if there were no city are different. In other words, a city might revolt if a neighboring city belonging to a different civilization has it within its cultural radius and that civilization's plot culture under the city is greater than the city's owner and that of all other civilizations with a city in range. You don't have to have a majority, you just have to have more of your nationality than the other guy. If a revolt can occur, there is a flat 10% chance each turn of making a revolt check.
During a revolt check, a random number between 0 and the city's revolt power is compared with the garrison strength. If the number is greater than the garrison strength, the city revolts.

Basically, a strong garrison of units in the city will help to stop any potential revolts. Welcome to the forums!

1) Maintain a fairly strong garrison there while the city is in anarchy.
2) Conquer the rest of the civ.
3) Save a Great Artist and use him to build a Great Work in the city.
4) There is an option "No city flipping from culture" in the Custom Game settings menu but this makes it impossible to use "culture bombing" to flip rivals' cities peacefully.

Culture bombing is usually done by farming great artists, and then using them all to create great works in one of your cities that is really close to another civs city. It expands your cultural boundary over their city, and can cause it to revolt and therefore become yours.

By original civ do you mean the one that you conquered it from? Or did that civ take it from a third civ and it went back to that one and not the one that you took it from?

If your wondering, yes it does make a difference.
