After I saw this map:

I noticed that the Green Lands are nicely situated; Imagine that those lands pink; we'd have a nicely shaped land. Greece is Green. What about planning a future war with Greece ?

Green with envy, huh? We'll need to speed up building galleys, and head straight for knights. Remember, we'll be going up against Hoplites, and we could essentially trigger their Golden Age.

I could never have imagined that a member of the Children of Peace faction wants to plan a future war, just because "it would look nice".

Incredible....(but ok, in the future it will look nice! )

But as Chieftess noted, that plan should only exist for the very distant future: before we are at the highest cultural level, which I aim to achieve for our Mighty Fanatica, we cannot fight distant wars.

Id plan this war for a later date, when their hoplites are obsolete id say. Probably late middle ages would be the best time to go with Cavalry and Cannons.
