Conquest promblem

I just got Civ III conquests and when i tryed to install it, it said i needed play the world (which i dont have). And on the back of the box, it says "Includes play the world" but theres only one cd.
WHATS THE DEAL?

Ahhhh. Do you have the original Civ 3 installed? You need to get that first.

O im such an idiot. Can you install Civ 3 and then just take it off? or will Conquests just stop loading.

Yes, you can install the original game and not use the disc.

You must have Civ3 installed - you cannot take it off or PTW/Conquests will not work. After all, they are *Expansion Packs* to the original....
