Conquests Multiplayer Problem

I'm not sure if this is the place to ask this, but Atari is no help so this is my last resort. I tried to start a multiplayer game over a LAN between my two computers. But when I try to host it I the other computer can't see the game. I never had this problem with PTW and both computers can easily run it. So basically what I want to know is does Conquests have some sort of serial number on the disk and it won't let you play multiplayer with the same disk? (Since I'm using the same disk on two computers) Anyway thanks,
