Oh my goodness. Satire simply cannot survive in this environment.
Kennedy occupies a place in U.S. history like Pierre Trudeau does in Canadian history. Whether you loved or hated him, there is no denying what a profound effect some of his words and deeds had on the country, both in governance and in its collective psyche. The inclusion of Kennedy is surprising. Do conservatives like Kennedy? Or is he just a symbol for the era between the war and the Civil Rights Act, without the baggage that most figures from that era would carry?
Traditionally, the keeper of the keys either has the power to imprison, or they're the keeper of whatever the group or institution is. For instance, when I served as the Chatelaine for my local SCA branch, I wore a key on a chain that hung from my belt. I had the keys to the kitchen, store-cupboards, wardrobes (figuratively, not literally, as our group didn't have our own actual castle, fortress, or manor). It was a symbol of both authority and service.I thought the Ike was just horrid. Also, what's with the keys?
Is that supposed to be all Republicans channeling their Sith knowledge into Trump so that he can figure out how to read the constitution?
It's funny how the vast majority of people are going to remember Trump as an idiot, but there's like 70 million people who will remember him as the exact opposite

I'm not sure. Remember how in 2008 you couldn't find anyone who admitted to voting for Bush in 2004?Is that supposed to be all Republicans channeling their Sith knowledge into Trump so that he can figure out how to read the constitution?

I think that a lot of US politics 2016-2020 will be remembered as a sort of collective manic episode, by both Democratic and Republican voters. Nobody will have a very clear idea of what they were thinking or what their intentions were, if they even remember what was happening at all.I'm not sure. Biden is going to be a pretty bad president, but at least his administration might serve as a sort of national chill-out tent.
