I too was going to mention it - I wonder who will nuke each other first!
In your dreams, biker! Some counter-terrorism operations along the lower Ohio river.
We liberated Nuevo Laredo. Ok, without any shoot, because "The man, who talks like a gossip queen", brother of "The man who speaks with a forked tongue",
negotated with the mayor of the city.
Meanwhile our wise science minister, "The man who plays with nitroglycerin" made some new decissions.
Hopefully we will know research new technologies faster.
In fact, I forgotten to adjust the rates for luxury, science and taxes at the beginning of the game.
civ2units, it doesn't look like you downloaded my most recent save game. I'm just wondering which save file you used to play your turn?
For some reason the forum doesn't always seem to register that a download occurred right away. I've noticed it a few times too.
Orlando and Miami are captured by U.S. Marines.
I used your savegame you posted today.
Given the ruminations about nuclear armageddon from certain micro-powers and the peanut gallery, the government of the Confederation has deemed it prudent to release details of negotiations between it and the government of the American Empire. At the outset of the scenario, the two sides reached an agreement on free trade and mutually secure borders. Here, Techumseh, the representative of the Confederation is seen arriving for the talks.
And here, the representative of the Empire, John somebody, arrives.
The Confederation government looks forward to a long peaceful and mutually beneficial relationship with our friends to the east.
Them's nuke-slinging words!
Do it, do it! After all, what's the point of having nukes if you don't use 'em?
I can't attack anybody with an empty file. Can you re-post it please?
Fair enough. I wonder what the world would be like without Seattle? No Starbuck's triple caramel frappicinos? Check. No endless reruns of Frasier? Check. No more Heck's Angels chapters? Double Check!
On second thought, maybe a battalion of Grannies with sharpened knitting needles would suffice? Yes, perhaps.
Oops - here's the save.
You can't nuke Seattle its the home of (checks google) ....the logging industry and the Amazon spheres. Yeah, nuke it
The citizens of Memphis, tired of Rebel anarchy, sensibly decide to join the Confederation. They are rewarded by a statue of Elvis, erected in the city square!
The Confederation foreign minister announces that a peace treaty has been signed with the Supreme Nation, assuring eternal peace on earth. In other news, a rapid bike was lost NE of Minneapolis after making an ill-advised attack on a Rebel position.
Law and order is restored in Monterrey while Hidalgo Parral celebrates our great chief.
Harrisburg is captured at a great loss of life.
Why would anyone make a statue of fat jumpsuited Elvis rather than cool young Elvis?
Less bronze. Nothing much to report.
Nothing happened so far.
Oh, I forgot the savegame
