Trump almost certainly got corna from Hope Hicks, whom was quarantined but Trump himself continued to attended events.
Its poetic that he is the vector that spread it to the Senate and White house

Well he might get what he wants. Trump might be president for the rest of his life.

I think either Trump or Biden will.
Strange how the hideous choices in this election got even worse...

On coronavirus news, it seems there is a general line in the Eu to have no country go into a new lockdown. This may backfire, I hope the situation won't escalate regarding victims and deaths.

If he can fulfill his wish, the world will be different the next month, but it'll be the God's will according to his own faith.

The world does not revolve around Trump. It revolves around the other 5.9999 billion people.

It's difficult navigating different internet forums' rules when it comes to expressing how one feels about Trump getting covid, unless you happen to be on the side of wishing him well. Suffice to say, the needs of the 300 million people exceed the needs of the one. The nation hired Trump to serve the nation--not the nation to serve Trump. He flouted the dangers of Covid to the people, he misled and spread disinformation, and people died because of it. Because of HIM. And if his own actions force him out of the office, then I will say I neither wish him well nor wish him poorly.

It seems the current global population is a little less than 8 billion, so after ww3 it may be 5,999 billion, is all ^_^

The only thing surprising in retrospect about Trump getting Covid is that it didn't happen sooner.

Also, I've noticed that the media has finally given up the pretext of Trump's self-assessed health reports when it comes to reporting on his health. Up until yesterday, the media would dutifully note that Trump was overweight but not obese, based on the fact that he magically gained an inch and lost at least 10 pounds at the health checkup where he told his personal physician what to write about his health. Now they all say he's obese, period. Which was obvious but it's one of those 'the emperor wears no clothes things' that has finally fallen away.

This morning Walter Reed put out a statement saying Trump's condition has improved but they're refusing to say whether or not he's on oxygen. I would not be surprised if they put him on it purely as a precautionary measure. I also would not expect anyone to admit when the 25th Amendment was exercised until either Trump dies or recovers and resumes his duties. If it is invoked, we'll only find out from leakers or much later IMO.

Spent a bit travelling. Surprised at how normal things felt overall. Airports are pretty dead compared to normal, and food/drink establishments and accommodations don't seem especially busy, but not much in the way of actual activity restrictions, minimal mask use outside of mandated locations (primarily public transit and certain jurisdictions), hostels still feature the usual assortment of Aussies and Kiwis, though they have to isolate for two weeks on arrival.

Now that Trump has COVID-19, I am now wondering, what happened to Jair Bolsonaro? He got it in July. He must have recovered quickly.

btw since we're talking about Brazil they've passed 146k deaths with São Paulo alone having more than a million infectees; meanwhile deforestation rages on even after the army's been sent in.

At least that's if you believe the ‘opposition’ i.e. non-sycophantic press.

At least there would have been news saying whether his condition worsened or not. I never saw such news, not even him having to go to hospital, so I think he got off lightly. With Boris Johnson 6 months ago, I remember seeing news of him going to hospital and being in intensive care, as we all would have seen.

Like Boris Johnson, he looks like as if he had a bad night's sleep. COVID-19 seems to make you look pale and drowsy.

Vanity Fair reports that Trump had a fever of 103F on Friday and heart palpitations that night and was administered oxygen while still at the White House. Supposedly he asked if he was 'going out like [some businessman he knows that died in April]'. Another source alleges that Mark Meadows told White House staff that if Trump is out of the hospital by Tuesday that he's through the worst. If he's still there on Tuesday, then the worst is still ahead.

Trump is alleged to have fought with doctors about going to Walter Reed until they pointed out if he didn't go while he could walk then he would go in a stretcher which would be an even worse look.

It's also looking like Trump went to the debate while contagious (and gave it to Christie during debate prep when none work a mask), and likely knew he was sick on Wednesday but held off on reporting it until his condition worsened. Spokesmen and his doctor's have issued conflicting statements which for Trump means that whatever option is worse is likely true.

Trump has the power to end the world now if he wants to regardless his political preference. As long as he's working in the Oval Office, his power is nearly unlimited if lawful.

It's too early to know what will happen, the President seems to perform okay according to the news, wait for a week before making any conclusions -

This. Boris Johnson was fine in the very first week.

Even if Trump survives, COVID-19 will do a lot of damage to his body, such as his heart, lungs and brain. It also increases your chance of getting Parkinsons, which is exactly what happened after the Spanish Flu. He may well die of post-COVID-19 complications.
