No news. We seem to have reached a stalemate. In exchange for peace, we'd give Dongala to the Ottomans, and 250 gold per turn to both the Italians and Germans for 4 turns. We don't require all three parties to agree and would give such terms to any that are willing to end the conflict.
Now why would we agree to that, when our army can see the glittering domes of Addis Ababa from its camp?
Assab and Jibuti bombarded and captured. One Turkish cruiser sunk, 4 more damaged.
Your turn, Sebastian.
I think it's Fairlines turn first.
Right! Sorry. Gareth, you're up!
sorry about this - thought I'd posted the save, but clearly not....
Destroyed a Boer Artillery near Windhoek.
So looking at the situation, before playing this turn I'll simply surrender to Tech and say this war has been lost.
What are your terms? Curious if now that you've won, you're willing to let the game go on for others fun or if this is an unconditional surrender type deal? I'd like to know before I play and move pieces.
Here's the save by the way - since I'm surrendering and awaiting terms I layed down arms and hit ctrl + n
Thanks John. I'll leave the decision about continuing the game to others, but I suspect that my lead at this point will be hard to overcome. There are still over 100 turns to go, btw.
I guess my question Tech is what are your terms? I'm still playing Ethiopia. I'm not quitting. What ends this war? Are you willing to end this war or are you annexing me?
If you're asking for terms, then I'll have to consult my allies first.
Italy supports a peaceful end to the conflict.
The Kaiser too calls for peace and will support all efforts to end this conflict.
Having consulted my allies, we are all unanimous that this should mark the end of the game. (Edit -Your surrender announcement is probably a good place to leave it.) Good game. Thanks to all.
