corporation runing cost

Well this is my fist game of BTS, and corporations is a new thing to me.

I read very well the rulling of these before using one

I made Sid's Sushis, and started spreading it and buying all the fish i could.

Then a nation wanted to be my vasal, so I started reading the rules for that. It said it makes the cities maint. a little highter. I acepted the vasal, then i wanted to check how much it raised the maint.

Then, i saw for my horror Sid Sushis was charging 19 coins to the city, when in the description it sais 4 !

Can someone explain to me what im missing? Btw i have a Rathaus (-75 maint) and Free Trade, so -25% maint for corporations

I could be wrong, but I think that the -4 you see is what you finally pay, all reductions included.

This corp in this city should have a maintenance of -19.24; but since you have a rathaus, the cost is reduced by 75%, so becomes -4.81, rounded to -4

It's not 100% correct, since the 0.81 still counts, but it gives you a good idea of what the corp really cost you.

nop, i thought that too, but if u add all the maint. cost (2.1 + 5 + 19.24) then apply the rathaus bonus, you get the 6.58 im being charged

2.1 is what you pay for the distance of your city to your palace. 5 is what you pay for your number of cities. These are not to be included in the corporation fee.
