This game was provided by me. Lots of thanks to Piu Freddo whose help with the set-up of such a game is pivotal for somebody like me as an absolute non-technician. (He does not have any extra Information on this specific game though, just to point that out.)

In game number 123 of the conquest version of the game of the month series you will rule over the Babylonians. This is a Warlord level game only, but you will have to overcome some obstacles, even though there is a juicy start waiting for you.

This game continues to use a modified form of the standard scenario, and although no bugs have been reported in some time, it is possible that play testing has not been exhaustive. Any in-game event or behaviour that a player feels is unintended should be reported to the staff immediately.

    Starting location

Some changes were made to adjust starting locations, but not too many. Do not be surprised that the colour of your civ changes from the pre-game picture, I simply had to readjust a detail afterwards.

    Scope of the Game:

    Civilization Babylon
    Difficulty Warlord
    Map size Standard
    Map topology unknown, 80% Water
    Climate all standard
    Rivals 7 preselected tribes
    Barbarians unknown
Submissions due by Jul 20, 2016 PLEASE NOTE THE DATE

    Lots of fun!

I'll wager a guess. What we see is our whole island. All those shields will help us little in the early phases. We'll need to research like crazy towards Map Making and try to save shields in Bowmen for disbanding into Galleys.

This is a very juicy start. Settle in place and go from there! I'll have the first ring of cities to have a little room to grow, but beyond that, cram them in and max out pop of 6 to maximize culture!

Warlord, two cows, 4 BGs and fresh Water???
Oh, how I miss those Warlord starts we usually got from civ_steve... :D

But honestly: what could be the difficulty here?! templar must have had a very very original idea, if he wants this game to provide a decent challenge?! (Like: only the space victory is enabled, but the only alluminium resource is located on a sea tile... :crazyeye:)

Even if what we currently see is all the land available to us, we'll have MM in no time on Warlord?!

Yes, my first idea. But there is no AI in F4 anymore. I thought if there's a last settler I must see the leaderhead too?

F4 is not the right tool to find out whether there are any more AIs up to my knowledge...

Meanwhile I found...the last KI. Completely unknown of course. Maybe it's true that one can't check it via F4 weather there might be a settler in a boat. But the dialogue box for an embassy seems to show.

did you find two of them or is it a double post? :D

anyway, f10 should give you all the civs in the game. and the embassy screen will tell you about unmet civs.
