Could I edit my game this way..?

Hello

Would this be possible...

Enjoying my game against 7 other civ's on a huge map. I selected them because of their least aggressive nature and also used the 'least aggression' setting from the game menu.

It has given the opportunity to learn aspects of the game without being too bothered by my opponents however...

Would it be possible to make changes to the current game that would change that default aggression rating used - I have found a conquests.ini file that seems to contain the information needed but this files contents changes each time a new game is made depending on what is selected and so I am not sure if it is the one to edit

The date is around 1780 or so and whilst I am liking the game very much no one as yet declared war on anybody - apart from me. I know that I wanted a little peace but they all seem to be comatose.

That tag tells you your last setting for agression. Changing it won't permanently make the AI any easier. That tag is there so that if you start a new game, all of your old settings are kept.

Editing this won't change much. I'd rather click the tabs myself.

ah thanks for that - I was wanting to edit (if possible) the game that is currently being played rather than a new starting position.
