could you play a conquest even after all its turns are up?

im playing mesopotamia right now and im not really sure how many turns are left. i just wanted to know if you could keep playing until infinity, or around infinity ...

I believe if you hit F8 it will tell you how many turns are left. And I think you do get the option to keep playing after the game ends.

Zorven is right on both accounts. Of course after the turns are up, no score is added, but you can continue playing. And pressing F8 will show you how many turns there are left in the game (after you do the math).

yep,they put in a turn counter at 20 turns left, for instance, you have to play past to figure out REPUBLIC IS BROKEN IN MESOPOTAMIA

I played the Napoleon Conquest way past the regular end-date just so I could whomp on the Russians and Ottomans some more. Screwy thing was, that the turn counter stopped at July 1827. I played several more turns beyond it, but it would save the scenario with the same name and show in the status screen as the same date, every turn.
