Couple of Questions

Hey Guys ,

Ok well im new to the forums so hi to everyone lol anyway .....

1. Why does everyone in my village always get sick how can i treat this
2. If someone says ( uselly alexander to me ) give us 100g and we will stop this war do you give them it or just battle them
3. What is gold used for is it for Reserching or Building ?

Hey, welcome to CFC.

1. You get 1 unhealthy face for each citize, plus it can be affected by flood plains near the city (in the "big fat cross" 0.4 unhealthy per flood plain), forests (+0.5 health each), buildings and resources. Have a read of cabert's "Ways into health" article

2. If you want to stop the war it is worth paying up. It's no use fighting a war you are going to lose, use the peace time to regroup and build some more troops. You can't get attacked for 10 turns if you negotiate a peace treaty [by the civ you have the treaty with anyway].

3. Gold is used to fund research at a deficit, if you are losing gold at your current science rate obviously you need some cash in the bank. You can also use gold to upgrade your troops. Don't get confused by the difference between gold and commerce (which gets converted into gold or science [beakers] or culture [or espionage, in BtS] via the science/commerce/espionage sliders).
