Not to be confused with the hit song from Disney's Aladdin, Complete New Planet.

Lots of new information there. Personally, I'm looking forward to the War Linking the States scenario. I now worry the day when Courageous comes out!

I wonder if this is purely down to poor auto-translation. Indian English can be quite different to UK English, but I would not expect these differences.

That does make me wonder if they have actually changed some of the wording in the Indian version. It is annoying that the web site does not seem to link back to the original source.

Also, there are no English language web sites for BNW listed under the .in domain, and very little for Civ itself.

I personally liked "splendid artists". It has a more glamorous and at the same time dignified tone to it...

    ... perhaps not.

Well, myself I prefer "Planet House of Representatives" to the old World Congress... truly innovative and imaginative :p

Well, the Spanish version has been awfully translated as "Cambia el mundo" ("Change the world"), which has absolutely no hook at all, in English nor in Spanish.
But I guess they couldn't go with the official translation of the novel "Brave new world": "Un mundo feliz" ("A happy world"????).

This gets worse - there is a link to the original English language website at http://tech2.in.com/news/gaming/civ...w-world-expansion-pack-up-for-preorder/875766 which has the same text, without the wrong wording.

So did they mistranslate it from English to native Indian and back to English again?

Be sure to favor excluding rogue nations from the attractive sports meetings held in your Planet House.

That's a pleasant way to put it! Doesn't have the same antagonism as 'between' the states. They should really change 'Scramble for Africa' into 'Going Slowly into Africa' as well.

That's not good - I already pre-ordered it off of Steam but now they tell me it's "void for pre-order".
Oh, and a number of my friends did mess about it for emancipated this weekend.
